A Clark County Sheriff’s Office deputy was sent to the South Vienna Elementary School about 1:40 p.m. Friday on a report of a possible overdose in a vehicle in the school’s parking lot.

The deputy alleged he found two people sitting in a vehicle with their eyes closed and a small child in the backseat. The passenger reportedly told the deputy he was “enjoying his weekend,” according to a police report. The man denied taking any drugs but said he had been drinking.

He also allegedly told police he had two beers at 9 a.m. but hadn’t drank since, the report says. Hill was arrested after officers completed field sobriety tests.

The children were placed with their mother, the report says.
