Officers then went to the 2200 block of Shawnee Boulevard to speak with Carter. She told police she became upset after the man allegedly began making inappropriate statements about former President Barack Obama. When she tried to speak up, the man allegedly told her: “Shut the (expletive) up cause you didn’t vote and have no right to talk,” the report said.

Carter told police she became highly upset and admitted to officers she began waving her hands in the air and hit the man in the face. She allegedly then began taunting the man to put her in jail for hitting him in the face, the report said.
