A teen driver will be cited after reportedly hitting a pedestrian.
Sgt. Troy Wolf of Franklin police said 23-year-old Adam Burse, of Franklin, was hit by a Jeep while walking in a crosswalk at East Fourth Street and Riley Boulevard.
The driver of the Jeep, a 17-year-old male, will be cited for traffic control devices, Wolf said.
He said Burse was knocked unconscious but his injuries minor. He was taken to Atrium Medical Center.
Wolf said the Jeep was making a left-hand turn at a green light but failed to yield to the pedestrian who had the right of way.
