The 12 year old was accused Wednesday afternoon of writing a threat on a desk at the junior high while the 15 year old was accused of writing a threatening note and dropping it in a high school hallway following the third period Thursday, said Troy Police Capt. Jeff Kunkleman.

The 15-year-old was taken to West Central Juvenile Detention near Troy pending a court appearance. A 16-year-old boy who was with him was turned over to juvenile probation officers, but had not been charged as of late Thursday.

The 12-year-old was released to his parents.

Police continue to investigate a threat written on a high school bathroom wall Friday, Nov. 10. That threat led to the closing of the high school and nearby junior high on Monday while K-9 units searched the buildings. No problems were found.

Another threat that was found at Concord Elementary School earlier in the week - written on a bathroom wall - also remains under investigation.

Kunkleman said this week's threats appear to be "copy cat" acts following the Nov. 10 incident. "We will continue to investigate. It is serious," he said.

Superintendent Eric Herman said students caught also will be disciplined by the district.
