Two 18-year-old men were indicted Tuesday in connection to the shooting of a 30-year-old man in October at a Dayton apartment complex.
A nationwide arrest warrant was issued for Zahki R. Walker of Dayton.
Terry Ta’Qwanta Hicks, of Jefferson Twp., has been in the Montgomery County Jail since his Oct. 29 arrest. He is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday.
Hicks and Walker are charged with two counts each of aggravated burglary and felonious assault, all with three-year firearm specifications, plus a single count of having weapons under disability for a prior offense of violence, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report released Tuesday.
They are accused of an Oct. 11 burglary and shooting at an apartment in the 1400 block of Howell Avenue.
A man was found with several gunshot wounds in the parking lot of a nearby church following the incident, police said. He was treated and later released from Miami Valley Hospital.
