Vandals spray graffiti on new Warrior Soccer storage facility

Vandals targeted a new Warrior Soccer Club storage garage at the group’s main complex in Dayton, and seemed to be upset about the money spent on the building.

Some of the graffiti was too graphic to show, but the vandals had a common theme in their spray painted messages—why was tax money spent on the storage building? We don’t have school buses.

Problem is—Warrior Soccer Club storage garage was paid entirely by private funds, according to the club president, Carole Maas.

The annual Warrior Classic Soccer Tournament for youth draws approximately 30,000 people to the Dayton area for Memorial Day weekend event.

Maas had cleaning crews removing the graffiti Monday with a foaming soap substance.

Police have not identified suspects in the vandalism case.
