Victim had a history of her own

A woman reported her cell phone was broken in a bar in the 3900 block of Dayton Xenia Road when she was assaulted while sitting with a male friend.

Allegedly, another female came up behind her and grabbed her by the hair, pulling her backward off the bar stool and onto the floor.

The assailant then ran out front door. She returned a few minutes later, throwing a beer can across the bar at somebody else. Suddenly a fight broke out at the rear door, and outside, the victim said she was pushed into the tailgate of a pickup truck.

The victim said she had been friends with the aggressor’s mother, but stopped being friends with her three months prior.

The plot thickened when the bartender said he had problems in the past with the victim, who had been asked several times to leave the bar.

The victim would not show police her broken cell phone, said she didn’t even know the number of the phone and didn’t want to be contacted at work.

The mother of the victim said her daughter had a lot of issues.
