A 33-year-old West Alexandria man is behind bars accused of trafficking methamphetamine.

Andrew T. Parizek was arrested Tuesday following a search Tuesday at his East South Street home, according to a release from Preble County Sheriff Mike Simpson.

Deputies had purchased suspected meth from the residence, and during the transaction there were children present, the release stated.

Parizek has been charged through Eaton Municipal Court for: aggravated trafficking in drugs, endangering children, aggravated possession of drugs, all felony charges; and a misdemeanor charge of illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

Parizek remains in the Preble County Jail.
