In exchange, Carr’s $100,000 bond was reduced to 10 percent of $100,000, said Municipal Court Judge James Sherron. Carr remained in the City Jail on Wednesday, according to jail records.
Earlier in the day, Carr was sitting in the courtroom waiting for her hearing to begin. Then she was notified her bondsman, who posted her $100,000 bond, was “releasing his liability,” according to court officials. She then was led back to the City Jail holding cell until she was called before the judge.
As she was led out of court, she kept asking, “Why?”
Earlier this month, members of the Middletown Division of Police and Warren County Drug Task Force issued a search warrant to a residence in the 3200 block of Beatrice Drive. Major Scott Reeve said members of the department’s Special Operations Unit investigated potential illegal drug activity in the house for about one year.

Reeve called that much methamphetamine, about half a pound, “a pretty major bust,” and said it was especially important because the alleged drug house is located near Mayfield Elementary School.
When police searched the home, besides the methamphetamine, they found a small amount of fentanyl, ecstasy and two loaded handguns. The complete list of items recovered from the residence has not been returned to the court, according to records.
