4 years in prison for Warren County man in wife’s fatal overdose

A Warren County man was sentenced today to four years in prison for charges in his wife’s fatal overdose.

Judge Donald E. Oda II sentenced Kevin Conner, 53, of Clearcreek Township, on counts of involuntary manslaughter and corrupting another with drugs.

The charges stem from the overdose death of his wife, Patricia Karrick-Conner, 48, on Jan. 27, 2017.

Emergency workers responding to a call for assistance found Conner’s wife dead from a drug overdose.

According to a press release issued by the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, “Conner told police that he uses heroin and that his wife uses the drug with him. Conner said that his wife drives him to purchase heroin, and he makes the actual transaction. Conner said his wife only used heroin when he purchased it.”

Toxicology reports confirmed she died of a multi-drug intoxication including fentanyl and other drugs.
