Cyber defense business bringing more jobs to Mound Business Park

Another business will be moving to the Mound Business Park next year.

Secure Cyber Defense has agreed to a five-year lease for 5,000 square feet of space at 1390 Vanguard Blvd. effective Jan. 1, Eric Cluxton, president of the Mound Development Corp., said today.

The company that works with businesses to prevent cyber attacks has outgrown its current space of 1,900 square feet at 31 S. Second St. in Miamisburg, CEO Shawn Waldman has said.

With the move, the firm will add two workers, bringing its full-time staff to eight, according to Waldman. Secure Cyber Defense will also add three to four more engineers in 2019, he has said.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The move will give the business park 17 tenants and more than 385 employees, Cluxton said.
