Amber Forman from Home Depot says you can use the blown insulation just like the professionals and rent a machine.
Forman said it's important to talk with an expert at Home Depot and find out what type of insulation will work best. Forman said, "Basically, it's not hard to install attic insulation, basement or wall. You want to make sure you're getting the right product for the right area of your home."
If you go with the basic pink fiberglass insulation, R-49 is the best. Forman said, "The higher your R-value is, the more money you're going to save when it comes to your energy bills."
