Flights to Charlotte to resume post Hurricane Florence

Following the devastation of Hurricane Florence, which left at least 11 people dead, the Charlotte airport is returning to normal operations.

The airport announced on Twitter that it reopened under normal schedule at 11:07 a.m. The North Carolina airport never fully closed but had several scattered cancellations during the weekend as Hurricane Florence brought strong winds and heavy downpours, and airlines halted service into the Carolinas.
