Florida woman has 11th booking photo taken after alleged assault on grandmother

A Florida woman wanted to spend the night with her husband in a hotel but didn't have the money. So police say she assaulted, burglarized and stole jewelry from her 84-year-old grandmother.
Authorities say 25-year-old Brigitte Matzke and 26-year-old Alex Caldwell face multiple charges following the Monday night incident at the grandmother's home.

A search of the Volusia County Corrections website revealed that Matzke has stood for at least 11 booking photos on various charges.

The Daytona Beach News-Journal reports a neighbor called police after hearing a commotion coming from a nearby apartment.

Police say the couple demanded for $80 from the woman. When her grandmother said she didn't have money, Matzke grabbed the woman, ripped her bra off and twisted her wrists. The couple left the apartment, but police arrested them later that night.

Matzke and Caldwell are in jail. Records don't indicate whether they've retained attorneys.

According to public records, Matzke's previous bookings in Volusia County included charges of driving with a suspended license, theft and possession of cannabis. According to public records, her latest charges include: false imprisonment, tampering with a witness, burglary, battery on a person 65 years of age or older, possession of amphetamines and possession of methamphetamine.
