Gas prices have gone up in Southwest Ohio and the Miami Valley.
Average retail gas prices in Dayton have risen 11.8 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.28 per gallon on Sunday, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 391 gas outlets in Dayton.
This compares with the national average that has fallen 1.6 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.20 a gallon, according to GasBuddy.com.
According to GasBuddy.com, the average price for a gallon of gas in Dayton is $2.29, with prices stable. The cheapest gas, as of this morning, is $2.12 at Sam’s Club on Miller Lane.
In Hamilton, the average price for a gallon of gas is $2.31, with prices stable. The cheapest gas is $2.03 at Murphy USA at Princeton Road and Ohio 4.
In Springfield, the average price for a gallon of gas is $2.29, with prices stable. The cheapest gas is $2.19 at Marathon at Springfield-Xenia Road near Sparrow Road.
