There is a Heat Advisory for the Miami Valley, except Montgomery County, which will continue under an Excessive Heat Warning until 8 p.m. Saturday.

An Excessive Heat Warning is issued when the National Weather Service expects heat indices to reach 105 or be at or above 100 two days in a row.

Tonight: Skies will be partly to mostly clear with warm and muggy conditions. A heat advisory will remain in place through the night because of warm overnight lows. Temperatures will not drop below 70.

Saturday: Hot and humid again, with highs in the low 90s with heat index values likely above 100 degrees. This will be the best chance for dry weather during the weekend, though a storm or two may develop late afternoon. Sunshine and scattered clouds. Lows again won't drop below 70.

Sunday: Highs in the low 90s again, with heat index values likely over 100 degrees. Sunshine, with clouds increasing. Scattered storms possible heading late into the day and evening.

Monday: Still hot, humid and unsettled. Highs will be around 90, with heat index values in the upper 90s. Scattered storms expected late day/early evening. A few may become strong with gusty winds and heavy rainfall.

Tuesday: Not as hot, with highs in the upper 80s. It will still be muggy but dry.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the upper 80s.
