Site work complete on new Kroger in Liberty Twp.

Site work is complete for a Kroger Marketplace at Ohio 4 and Kyles Station Road.

There’s not a start date for construction of the new 133,868-square-foot store, according to Erin Rolfes, a Kroger spokeswoman. When the new location is built, it will replace a 57,000-square-foot storefront that Kroger started leasing at 5420 Liberty-Fairfield Road in 1998.

The new Kroger Marketplace will be part of the 56-acre Shoppes at Kyles Station development, which developer Oberer Realty Services previously said will include a Kroger fueling station, a 13,706-square-foot strip center with a PetValu, El Rancho Nuevo restaurant, Great Clips, Aura Nail & Spa and a yet-to-be-announced tenant.

A second phase calls for the addition of 7,000 square feet of retail space. In addition to Kroger, the new Kyles Station development will also offer 16 outlots ranging in size between one to four acres.
