The city of Miamisburg intends to sell a piece of land on Pipestone Golf Club to an adjoining property owner.
The proposal comes after a home improvement mistake in the Pipestone subdivision, city records show. A homeowner in the housing development made improvements to land which he later discovered was golf course property owned by the city, according to the city.

Michael Fink of Berwick Court this year “discovered that some of his property improvements” - specifically hardscape and swimming pool work – “encroaches on city owned property” and approached officials about resolving the issue, city records show.
The purchase would involve 0.0446 acres on the eastern edge of Pipestone and the transaction “would have no negative impact on the course,” according to city documents.
