GM Issues Two Recalls

General Motors will start sending its customers information about a couple of new recalls.

Dealerships will inspect defective brakes on the 2004 and 2005 models of the Hummer H-2, Chevrolet Silverado, Suburban and the GMC Yukon XL. For more information, owners should contact Chevrolet at 1-800-630-2438. For GMC Trucks, owners should call 1-866-996-9463. And, Hummer owners should call 1-800-732-5493 for more information.

GM also issued a recall because the gas pedal may not work properly in extreme cold weather. The company will contact the owners of 2004 Cadillac XLR’s, SRX SUVs and the Pontiac Grand Prix. For more information, Cadillac owners should call 1-866-982-2339 or Pontiac at 1-800-620-7668.
