A new and independently owned restaurant called T-Bird's Kitchen is gearing up to open on Salem Avenue northwest of Dayton.
“Everything is pretty much in place and ready to go,” T-Bird’s founder LaCory Adams of Kettering told this news outlet today. If late preparations fall into place as planned, the new restaurant at 3736 Salem Ave. in Harrison Twp. could open as early as next week, Adams said.
T-Bird’s Kitchen is located southeast of Free Pike, in space that most recently housed 2 Flavors, and which once held Florentina’s Pizza & Subs.
The opening-day menu will include chicken wings, mac and cheese and waffle fries, Adams told this news outlet. He plans to add burgers and other items to the menu in the weeks following the opening.
Adams said the site’s easy accessibility and high-profile location near Salem Avenue and Free Pike were attractive. The restaurant’s hours to start will be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, closed Mondays.
T-Bird’s Kitchen will offer delivery, Adams said. A phone number was not yet available; phone service is scheduled for installation early next week, the restaurant’s founder said.
