Troopers said a vehicle driven by John M. Magness, 21, of Lima, failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck in the passenger side by a vehicle driven by Katherine M. Mathews, 23, of Waynesfield.
Medics arrived at the scene and took Mathews to a hospital in Lima. Magness was taken to a hospital in Lima, but was later transported by Careflight to Miami Valley Hospital.
Investigators said a passenger in Magness’ car was taken to a hospital in Lima, where he later died. Troopers said another passenger in Magness’ car was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
