An autopsy is scheduled Monday on the body of a 51-year-old man found dead Saturday morning at 600 South Eighth.
Richmond police said the man was discovered by a letter carrier, who thought the man had passed out. He called 911, and police said medics determined the man was dead.
Police know who the victim is, but are waiting to release his name until his family in the Indianapolis area is notified.
Investigators said there were no signs of trauma or foul play.
Patrons at a next-door bar said they say the man in the bar Friday afternoon around 5:30 p.m.
