How to watch and how to go to upcoming political events

With just days left before Election Day, President Obama, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, Michelle Obama and others are campaigning in the Dayton area in an effort to get out the vote.

Friday afternoon Obama campaigned in Sprinfield, and during the evening Romney and Ryan  kicked off the Romney-Ryan Real Recovery Road Rally in West Chester Twp. right off of I-75.

Here’s the information on other upcoming election events in the greater Miami Valley area:

First lady Michelle Obama will speak to supporters Saturday at Miami University
The event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. at Withrow Court at Miami University, 201 Tallawanda Road.

Tickets are required due to limited space, and will be available to the public starting on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tickets can be picked up at the following locations beginning at 10 a.m. Friday:

32 W. Walnut St., Oxford

112 N. 2nd St., Hamilton

Anyone attending the events above should expect to go through airport-like security and should bring as few personal items as possible, according to the campaign. No bags, sharp objects, umbrellas, liquids, or signs will be allowed in the venue. Cameras are permitted.

House Speaker John Boehner campaigns for Romney in Lebanon, Beavercreek on Saturday
Speaker Boehner John Boehner will meet volunteers at Republican Victory Centers in Beavercreek and Lebanon on Saturday.

He’ll be at the Warren County Victory Rally at 30 West Main Street, Lebanon at 8:30 a.m. Boehner will be at the Greene County Victory Rally at 3297 Seajay Drive, Beavercreek 9:45 a.m.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio campaigns with Ohio Senate candidate Josh Mandel on Friday
U.S. Senate Republican nominee Josh Mandel will visit the Centerville Republican Victory Center with U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, R-Fla., Friday at 3:15 p.m. Mandel and Rubio will rally supporters as the campaign enters the final get out the vote push. The event is at 7720 Paragon Road.

Jesse Jackson rallying voters in Cincinnati
Saturday, Nov. 3, at 5 pm Rev. Jesse Jackson is having a Rally for Jobs, Opportunity and Voting, at Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 3655 Harvey Ave, Cincinnati.

Local candidates special on WHIO TV Channel 7
Saturday at 12:30 p.m., WHIO-TV Channel 7 will air "Election 2012: Five Free Minutes To the Candidates." We offered 5 free – uninterrupted minutes to our local candidates running for the U.S. Senate and Congress. The show is anchored by News Center 7's Jim Otte with reports from Scott MacFarlane in our COX Washington Bureau.
