Voters nix Jefferson Twp. levy

Voters rejected an operating levy in Jefferson Twp., according to final, unofficial results on Tuesday at the Montgomery County Board of Elections.

Voters considered the additional 3.75-mill permanent levy for operating expenses.

If it had been approved it would have cost the owner of a $100,000 an additional $131.25 annually.
