Dayton area veterans job and resource fair growing, organizer says

Veterans Moving Forward, a yearly event for veterans, will stage its first job fair coupled with a returning resource fair at Wright State University on May 23, an organizer says.

The event at WSU’s Student Union has some space left for organizations and employers to register, said Cassie Barlow, chairwoman of the Greater Miami Valley myVeterans Community and a former base commander at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

“It’s grown every year,” she said “We’re almost out of tables.”

The employment and resource fair is set from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 23 in the Student Union Apollo room.
