Local shop giving away ‘free doughnuts for a year’ for its birthday

A local independent doughnut shop is giving away “free doughnuts for a year” to celebrate its 2nd anniversary.

There is a limit, and a slight catch: the offer is for a dozen free doughnuts for the winner and the winner's friend each month. And it will take a few social-media keystrokes to become eligible.

Here's what Bear Creek Donuts in Miamisburg invited its customers to do on its Facebook page to enter its giveaway:

“Our second anniversary is coming up April 4th And we wanted to celebrate big to let you all know how much we appreciate the support. You and one of your friends will have the opportunity to win a dozen free donuts every month until next year. You just have to like, share, and comment who you would like to share them with. That is a lot of donuts.”
