Police: Several marijuana plants seized during search of Fairborn house

UPDATE @ 3:50 p.m.:

Several marijuana plants and cultivation items were seized during a search warrant executed at a Fairborn home Friday, according to investigators.

The search warrant was obtained and executed late Friday mornign following an investigation by the Greene County ACE Task Force and the United States Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Fairborn police said in a media release.

The AFOSI is an agency that investigates any illegal activity that “undermines the mission of the U.S. Air Force or the Department of Defense,” according to the agency’s website.

No charges have been filed, police said, and it was not immediately clear if any arrests were made.

FIRST REPORT

The ACE Task Force is investigating at a house in the 1200 block of Harmony Lane this afternoon.

There are also federal agents at the house.

It’s unclear why investigators are at the home, however we are working to learn more information.

The ACE Task Force is a group comprised of multiple Greene County law enforcement agencies who work together to investigate crimes in the area.
