As apps, gadgets and delivery services continue to add more convenience to many lives, senior citizens may struggle to stay afloat in the sea of new technology.
In an effort to help seniors explore and navigate ways technology can help them, the Greene County Council on Aging is hosting the 2018 Aging and Technology Expo.
The Expo is today at the Greene County Fairgrounds assembly building on Fairground Road in Xenia from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
There will be vendor booths, a tech lab and presentations, with partners including the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, Cedarville University’s School of Pharmacy and more, according to the GCCOA website.
Admission is a donation of a non-perishable food item.
News Center 7 consumer reporter Rachel Murray will have more on the struggles seniors face in this tech-centered world and how they can get help today on WHIO-TV at 5 p.m.
