The suspect is described as a white male, possibly in his 50s, who was wearing a blue denim jacket, according to police. Also, the suspect apparently had no front teeth, police scanner reports indicated.
The suspect was last seen headed toward the Verizon store, 3417 Pendleton Circle, police said.
Monroe Police Department’s canine unit also was called to the scene to assist Middletown police in attempting to locate the suspect.
There were no reports of injuries, and the suspect remained at large as of late Thursday, police said.
