Chief: Fire in vacant house on South Findlay in Dayton deemed suspicious

Crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the attic, so much so that you couldn’t see down the street, Bowers said.

The house appears to have been vacant for some time and there was no sign of squatters, he said.

Bowers estimated the damage at $12,000.
