Name: Ashlyn Stollings

School: Northwestern Jr./Sr. High School

Grade: 12

Age: 17

Sports: Bowling

Claim to fame/honors: CBC's bowler of the year two years in a row, won the county tournament two years in a row as an individual, highest series at districts this year, hold a National record for the highest two game series of 577 with a 277 game and a 300 game

Words you live by: "Don't get caught up in the negatives and always look forward to the positives."

Toughest opponent: Myself. I find that I criticize myself too much, but I always strive to do better.

Game-day rituals: I usually eat a Twix candy bar.

Favorite movie: Breakfast Club

Favorite TV show: Big Bang Theory

Favorite musical artist: Katy Perry

Favorite restaurant: O'Connors

Place where you'd love to travel: New Zealand

Favorite school subject: Social Studies and Math

Favorite athlete: Jason Belmonte

Something in the world I'd like to change: I'd like for everyone to be more tolerable and respectful towards others beliefs and lifestyle and to become more accepting of those around them.

Favorite sports moment: Bowling my first 300 game. That was also the same day I broke the National record.

Favorite junk food: Twix candy bar

Best thing about your favorite sport: In bowling you are on the lanes by yourself, and the only one who is going to make it or break it is you. I like how the sport is very individualized. Don't get me wrong, I love being a part of a team. But if worst comes to worst, there is always a chance for an individual to move on in the competition.
