Bicyclist taken to hospital after being hit by car in Harrison Twp.

UPDATE @ 8:15 p.m. (March 4):

A traffic crash report shows that a driver who struck a man riding a bicycle last month was cited for speed - assured clear distance ahead.

The 82-year-old Trotwood motorist struck the bicyclist in the rear Feb. 26 in the 100 block of Shiloh Springs Road.

FIRST REPORT

A man who was on a bicycle has been taken to a hospital after a car hit him in the 100 block of Shiloh Springs Road in Harrison Twp. Tuesday.

His injuries do not appear to be serious and he was lucid and talking with medics at the scene, Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies said.

The accident was reported about 4:53 p.m.

Deputies said they are working to figure out who’s at fault in the accident, which occurred on a busy residential street.
