The Boonshoft Museum of Discovery, 2600 DeWeese Parkway, is hosting their annual Dayton Science Festival today until 4 p.m.

Every year, the Boonshoft Museum collaborates with the Dayton Science Festival for a free, community-wide celebration of STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) learning.

“This is an event that’s available for all ages with lots of fun hands-on activities,” Dawn Kirchner, Vice President of Education, said. “This is a great opportunity for families and visitors of all ages to explore science, technology, engineering and math in the Dayton region.”

Families can explore hands-on activities found throughout the museum, interact with community partners and professionals for science experiments, and experience the Explorers exhibit.

The STEM Expo, which closes at 3 p.m., is in the museum’s Main Exhibit Hall and features museum educators and representatives from over 20 community partners.
