The bridge over the Little Miami River on Upper Bellbrook Road in Sugarcreek Twp. is being shut down for an extended period to accommodate rehabilitation work, according to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.
Crews put out road closure signs this morning where the bridge will be closed between Turkeyfoot and Mead roads.

The bridge is located east of Bellbrook High School.
The closure is expected to last approximately 45 days, according to the engineer’s office.
To get around the closure, main thoroughfares are Indian Ripple and Van Eaton roads to the east, Feedwire and South Alpha Bellbrook roads to the west.
The bridge rehabilitation project is being done at a cost of $170,000, according to the engineer’s office.
