Fans of Tate’s cookies — those thin and crispy “craft bake” delights — have an opportunity for free samples this week.

Tate’s Little Bake Shop is touring the country in a replica of the original Little Bake Shop and will be offering samples of their signature chocolate chip cookies at two Dorothy Lane Market locations Wednesday, June 19.

The cookie samples will be at the Dorothy Lane Market Washington Square store, 6177 Far Hills Ave., from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and at the Springboro store, 740 N. Main St., from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Tate’s Bake Shop was founded by Kathleen King in 1980 and named after her father. Last year, more than 12,000 bags of the cookies were purchased at Dorothy Lane Market.
