City asking state to not renew some liquor licenses

The City of Dayton is asking the state liquor commission to not renew the liquor licenses for two establishments and are also asking that a group of Family Dollar stores not get liquor licenses.

Ashwood Lounge and Chris’s Band Box are the two establishments the city said they don’t want the state to renew the liquor licenses for.

Ashwood Lounge has been the site of several shootings in the city in recent years.

The city also is requesting the state not issue new liquor licenses to three Family Dollar locations

  • 4322 Salem Avenue
  • 645 Troy Street
  • 1130 North Main Street
