DETAILED FORECAST

TODAY: Widespread rain with a few storms are possible into the evening, said Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs. Steady rain will taper to occasional showers overnight. It will be cloudy and cool with lows in the upper 40s.

THURSDAY: We'll see a break from rain in the morning. A warm front will lift north in the afternoon bringing more showers and a few storms to the area. It will be a very mild afternoon with highs in the upper 60s. Gusty winds will develop as well. We'kk see wind gusts up to 35 mph into the evening. Another round of rain and a few storms will move in Thursday night. An isolated severe storm may produce damaging winds. Small hail and a brief spin-up can't be ruled out. The best change to see stronger storms will occur between midnight and 5 a.m. Overnight, lows will stay mild in the lower 60s.

FRIDAY: A few passing showers are possible for the first part of the day. A cold front will bring an end to the precipitation in the afternoon. Temperatures will fall quickly from the mid-60s in the afternoon to the 20s by the morning. Wind gusts up to 30

SATURDAY: It will be a dry first weekend of spring! Unfortunately, it will be chilly with highs around 40.

SUNDAY: A cold morning in the low 20s with highs reach the middle 40s with sunshine.

MONDAY: It will be another dry day with a few more clouds. It will be milder in the afternoon with highs back into the lower 50s.
