Bethany Lutheran Village, a continuing care retirement community in Centerville, will begin construction next week on a new $42 million assisted living wing at its facility.
The community will hold a groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday, July 11, at 3 p.m. for the construction of its new 74-unit assisted living building called Crescent Crossing.
The 90,000-square-foot building will also house a theater, chapel, gathering spaces, a fitness center and more.
This is the first major construction at Bethany Village in a decade, according to a news release from the retirement community. The project is said to create 50 new jobs at the facility.
Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2018.
