Rain and more rain has interrupted construction schedules, delaying various projects throughout the Miami Valley. Don’t assume all these projects are underway, but it’s a safe bet that on days when the rain clears workers would be out in force. Here are the closures for the week of July 13.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY
• I-70 east and west between Taywood Road and Airport Access Road, overnight lane closures July 14 at 8 p.m. through July 15 at 6 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• Wilmington Pike between East Whipp Drive and Clyo Road, lane closures for road improvement through Oct. 15. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times. Two lanes will remain open in each direction during peak traffic hours.
• SR 741 between Alex Bell Road and Orchard Run, overnight lane closure July 14 at 8 p.m. to July 15 at 6 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• I-75 north between Edwin C. Moses Boulevard and Main Street, nightly lane closures through July 15 between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. One northbound lane will remain open at all times.
• I-70 east and west at Dog Leg Road, rolling road block July 19 between the hours of 7 a.m. - 8 a.m. This closure will be brief in nature, lasting approximately 15 minutes.
• U.S. 35 westbound ramp to I-75 southbound, occassional ramp closures through Aug. 1 between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. The official detour is: I-75 north to Main Street to I-75 south.
• U.S. 35 east and west at I-75, various nightly lane closures through Aug. 1 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
• I-75 north and south between Main Street and Edwin C. Moses Boulevard, nightly lane closures through Aug. 1 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
• I-75 northbound ramp to U.S. 35 eastbound, ramp closures through Aug. 1 between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. The official detour is:I-75 north to U.S. 35 west to James H. McGee Boulevard to U.S. 35 east.
CHAMPAIGN COUNTY
• SR 296 between SR 29 and Black Road in Urbana, lanes closures through Sept. 30. One lane will remain open for travel in each direction through the use of temporary traffic signals.
CLARK COUNTY
• I-70 east and west between SR 4 and U.S. 68, lane closures through July 31 between the hours of 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. These will become double lane closures between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction.
• I-70 between Enon Road and U.S. 68, lane addition project. Two lanes are open in each direction. In some areas, three lanes are open in each direction. The amount of available lanes could change depending on work being done on the project.
MIAMI COUNTY
• I-75 north and south between Fair Road and U.S. 36, Nightly lane closures through July 24 between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
• SR 41 between SR 201 and Hufford Road, road closed through Sept. 5. The official detour is: westbound- SR 201 to SR 55 to SR 202 to SR 41. Eastbound- SR 202 to SR 55 to SR 201 to SR 41.
• CR 25A (Piqua) between Looney Road and Indian Ridge Drive, road close through Oct. 15. The official detour is: Looney Road to U.S. 36 to Troy/Sidney Road to CR 25A.
• I-75 south Ramp to CR 25A near Troy, ramp closed through Sept. 4. The official detour is: I-75 south to SR 41 to I-75 north to CR 25A.
