Coronavirus: Montgomery County Clerk of Courts cuts back on in-person services

Montgomery County Clerk of Courts Mike Foley’s office, in response to the coronavirus pandemic, will be operating the legal, municipal, and auto title offices at reduced hours and capacity.

The clerk of courts will remain open to continue essential services, he said.

The office will be operating with limited staff starting today, March 18, for legal and auto title divisions and Thursday for the municipal division until further notice:

  • Legal Division, in downtown Dayton, will be open, holding regular business hours
  • Municipal Court Eastern and Western will close to the public (except March 24 and 31 from 8 a.m. until noon in Huber Heights and noon until 4 p.m. in New Lebanon for special cases)
  • Auto Title Division, in Centerville and Huber Heights, 8 a.m. until noon and 1 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office will close from noon to 1 p.m. to sanitize.
  • Clayton and Moraine offices closed
  • Downtown office, 8 a.m. until noon Monday through Friday. Closed Saturday and Sunday
