UPDATE: Woman has been identified in fatal crash on Fenner Road near Troy

UPDATE @ 2:47 a.m.: The victim has been identified as Elora Taylor, 32, of Ludlow Falls. Miami County Deputies say that Taylor was westbound on Fenner Road near Forest Hill Road when she lost control, veered off the side of the roadway, rolling her vehicle. It appears excessive speed and possible distracted driving as causes for the fatality.

UPDATE @ 10:56 p.m.: The driver killed in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday on Fenner Road near South Forrest Hill roads near Troy, appears to have been a case of driver inattention, a Miami County Sheriff's lieutenant said.

The driver’s name and age had not yet been made public.

The four-door Buick SUV left the roadway and continued into a ditch, which caused the vehicle to roll several times before it came to rest on its wheels.

The vehicle snapped a power pole in the accident, but there were no reports of power outages in the area. Fenner Road was closed about two hours for the investigation.

INITIAL REPORT

The coroner’s office has been requested to a crash in the area of Fenner Road and Forest Hill Road this afternoon, according to dispatch records.

The crash was reported around 4:30 p.m.

Initial reports indicated the crash involved one vehicle.
