Firefighters investigating Creighton Avenue house fire in Dayton

UPDATE @ 10:03 a.m.:

Four people were home Friday morning when a fire started in an upstairs bathroom room on Creighton Avenue in Dayton.

No one was injured and firefighters were able to quickly knock down the fire.

The fire caused power to be shut off to the house and the Red Cross was called to help the residents.

Firefighters are investigating the cause of the fire.

INITIAL REPORT:

Firefighters have responded to reports of a house fire on Creighton Avenue in Dayton Friday morning.

The fire was reported around 8:50 a.m. in the 500 block of Creighton Avenue, near Xenia Avenue.

Initial reports indicate smoke was showing from the roof of the home and all occupants were able evacuate safely.
