Crews were dispatched to the 200 block and found flames coming from the rear of the house around 12:20 a.m., per initial reports.
Firefighters entered the house and were able to quickly knock down the fire that was coming from two rooms in the back of the house, according to Chief Andrew Wiley with the Dayton Fire Department.
No injuries were reported.
Due to the home’s vacancy, electric, gas and water were all cut off at the residence.
Damage estimates were not immediately available.
