DAV offers up to $1,500 in disaster relief for veterans

The Disabled American Veterans National Disaster Team will be in Dayton for three days next week.

The team from Monday through Wednesday will be at the American Red Cross shelter at 700 S. James H. McGee Blvd. in Dayton.

DAV disaster relief is designed to provide relief to veterans up to $1,500, which includes up to $500 for food and clothing and up to $1,000 to provide temporary shelter, food and clothing, according to a release from the DAV Ohio Headquarters in Columbus.
