Dayton Bomb Squad sets off 2 explosions at scene of reported suspicious device

The Dayton Bomb Squad has set off two explosions in their investigation of a suspicious device believed to have been found at the residence in the 1800 block of Rosemont Boulevard in Dayton.

Police and fire officials left the scene without comment.

The boulevard, which was closed because of the incident, has been reopened to traffic.

A call was made to 9-1-1 just before 4 p.m., but the caller said nothing and hung up, according to a Montgomery County Regional Dispatch sergeant.
