Dayton man arrested in Clark County for OVI for seventh time

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers have charged a Dayton man with operating under the influence for the seventh time.

John B. Adams, 53,  was arrested on Monday after troopers stopped him for failing to drive within marked lanes, according to a release from the highway patrol.

At approximately 10:30 p.m., a caller saw Adams weaving heavily and almost striking other cars on Interstate 70 East.

When troopers stopped Adams, they reportedly saw indicators of impairment and placed him under arrest for OVI.

According to the release, Adams has prior convictions for OVI in 2002, 1999, 1988, 1985 and 1984.

He is scheduled to appear Friday in Clark County Municipal Court.
