Man finds dead woman in home, says he doesn't know her

UPDATE@ 10:05 a.m.:

The autopsy for a 41-year-old Brookville woman found dead in a Dayton spare bedroom has been completed.

A cause or manner have death has yet to be determined for Brandi Grooms, according to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.

UPDATE @ 8:35 a.m.: 

A woman found dead inside a man’s spare bedroom has been identified as Brandi Grooms, 41, of Brookville, according to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.

An autopsy is scheduled to be performed.

FIRST REPORT (Dec 9):

A man called 911 to report an unknown woman dead in his spare bedroom.

Crews responded around 12:30 p.m. Saturday to the 2000 block of Speice Avenue.

According to the 911, the man told dispatch that he discovered the body in a spare bedroom when he came home.

He reported that he did not know who she was or how she got inside the house, according to dispatch logs.

The cause of death is unknown at this time.
