Taser prong stuck in face of suspect fleeing Dayton police

A 22-year-old man had a Taser prong stuck in his face when police finally caught up to him, according to a Dayton police report.

Jeremire J. Perrey was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on suspicion of possession of a deadly weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and having weapons under disability, all felonies, and a misdemeanor charge of obstructing official business. He also is accused of a possible parole violation.

A caller reporting suspicious activity around 8:30 a.m. Monday on Arlene Avenue precipitated the foot chase and an arrest after two people fled when police arrived, according to the police report.

Around 8:30 a.m. a caller saw suspicious activity in the area of Arlene Avenue and when police arrived two suspects immediately attempted to flee.

Perrey was arrested but the other suspect got away.

A loaded handgun was recovered at the scene, police said.
