Dayton residence shot into with mother, 3 sons inside

Dayton police were dispatched to the 200 block of Fountain Avenue Monday night on reports of a shooting into a habitation, according to a report.

A woman told police she was upstairs with her 16-year-old son when their house was struck by several bullets. They then noticed a black 4-door Honda Civic-style vehicle with dark tinted windows traveling east on the street with loud music.

The victim was unaware her house was struck until her 20-year-old son came upstairs and told her something entered the house and knocked his glasses off his face, read the report.

Her 20-year-old son and his girlfriend, along with her 8-year-old son, were downstairs in the living room when the shooting occurred.

Three bullet holes were found inside the residence, which caused damage to the wood.

No one was injured, and the cause is unknown.
