Two families will be displaced for the night after a fire damaged a duplex in Piqua Sunday afternoon.

The fire occurred in the 100 block of Cleveland Street in the Shawnee neighborhood of Piqua around 1 p.m. Sunday.
The fire was contained to a bedroom but did damage the structure. Damage was estimated around $20,000.
The occupants of the duplex were able to evacuate and no injuries were reported.
One family is receiving assistance from the Northern Miami Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross. A second family will stay with family elsewhere.
